Completely out of the blue, Bethesda has shadow dropped the Anniversary edition of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on Nintendo Switch. This edition costs $69.99 on the Nintendo eShop and includes all sorts of new content including User Creation Club content, a Survival mode and more. If you already have the base game, you will be able to upgrade to the Anniversary edition for a reduced charge.

Additional features and content includes:
- 74 items from the creation club included within Anniversary, which amounts to over 500 new gameplay elements.
- A newly added survival mode, which can be accessed in the options menu after beating the tutorial area in Helgen.
- Survival mode has you managing things like hunger, fatigue, and also even the cold elements of Skyrim. Other gameplay functions such as fast travel or shrine usage have also been tweaked for increased realism and difficulty, allowing hardcore Skyrim fans to really test their skills.
