Ahead of the Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak expansion, a new demo has been released on the Nintendo Switch eShop. The demo has four different monsters to hunt at varying difficulties and includes the expansion’s flag beastie Malzeno, however, if you want to take on Malzeno, you will need to beat the intermediate or expert level hunt on one of the other monsters first. On the plus side, the demo can be played singularly or with others (via local wireless or online) and has all weapon classes available to choose from.
Downloading the demo should be a simple affair but it is not available in a typical way. You would think that with Monater Hunter Rise: Sunrise being listed on the eShop, you could simply download it there. That would make sense but the demo is actually only available by going to the base game’s listing (Monster Hunter Rise) and them select download demo here. You will then be given a choice whether to download the main games demo or the new demo for Monster Hunrer Rise: Sunbreak.
We hope this helps any of you who are looking to play the demo yourselves and wondering why it is not apparently available on the Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak eShop listing. Do let us know if you download the demo and we wish you well in the hunt for Malzeno!
