Samus, is that you?
Since Nintendo told the world outright that Retro Studios would be taking over Metroid Prime 4’s development, back in January 2019, news regarding the game has been very scarce.
For the most part, instead of details about the game being revealed, most news related to Prime 4 has often been about Retro Studios hiring for new staff. For instance, it was only last month that the company declared they are looking for a Tools Engineer and Technology Engineer to work on Metroid Prime 4.
Before that in December 2021, they were after a Boss / AI Designer and before that, back in August 2021, they were hiring for a new Lead Producer and other positions that they are currently looking to fill now.
We are looking for a 𝗧𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿 and a 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿 to join us on our journey to develop Metroid Prime 4!#GameJobs #GameDev #GameDevJobshttps://t.co/NWVPLGvVVc pic.twitter.com/Kz7pGFEDDZ

In an intriguing turn of events, however, Retro Studios are now using a brand new banner over on Twitter, which does feature Samus, but other than that, doesn’t give away much. Whatever the case, we have the new banner right here:
