As a PADI Dive Master and underwater photography, in addition to gaming, I have two large passions, all things aquatic and photography. Because of this, it’s why I loved the Endless Ocean games so much, it’s also why I was very excited to hear about ABZÛ first coming to the Nintendo Switch and now, thanks to Super Rare Gamesit’s swapped digital for physical and I can not wait to dive back into this game. Maybe that’s why I broke out my trusty SONY camera and went a little overboard with my unboxing photos:

Still, why merely settle for a fine selection of videos when you can also indulge in an special unboxing video of the steelbook version of this release, by our very own Dive Master Mike, who is dressed for the occasion? Please enjoy:

Massive thanks to Ryan and Super Rare Games for hooking us up with a physical copy to enjoy and photograph and that’s “hooking” not “hookah”, which incidentally is a type of aquatic diver where the diver is provided air via a hookah line, which is delivered to them via a battery or gas-powered air compressor.

For even more ABZÛ, coverage, although we’ve previously published a review about the game, it is also currently getting the EXPlay treatment, with that coverage going live soon.
