Welcome to Switch History, the feature series dedicated to rounding up the software updates for some of Nintendo’s biggest Switch games. In today’s piece, we’re highlighting the updates for 2017’s Fire Emblem Warriors:

Update History:

Ver. 1.5 (Released March 28, 2018):

  • Fire Emblem Awakening Pack compatibility has been added.
  • The level cap for characters has been increased to 150.
  • New weapon attribute, Legendary, has been added.
  • New blessings have been added.
  • New crests have been added.
  • Level Reset has been added. After clearing Story Mode, you can reset a character’s level at the Temple.
  • Continuous Blessings setting has been added. You can receive the same blessings as the last battle without going to the Temple.
  • Video-capture compatibility has been added.
  • Credits have been updated.
  • Improvements to the UI.
  • Various bug fixes.

Ver. 1.4 (Released February 14, 2018):

  • Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon Pack compatibility has been added.
  • The level cap for characters has been increased to 130.
  • New weapon attributes, Critical Focus and Antiair Focus, have been added.
  • New blessings have been added.
  • New crests have been added.
  • Crest Confirmation setting has been added.
  • Improvements to the UI.
  • Various bug fixes.

Ver. 1.3 (Released December 20, 2017):

  • Fire Emblem Fates Pack compatibility has been added.
  • The level cap for characters has been increased to 110.
  • New weapon rank, S, has been added.
  • Weapon attribute, Fury Builder, has been added.
  • New blessings have been added.
  • New crests have been added.
  • Various bug fixes.

Ver. 1.2 (Released November 16, 2017):

  • A new History Mode map, Hero Challenge, has been added.
  • A new weapon attribute, Armor Strike, has been added, allowing you to inflict a Broken Armor state on enemies.
  • New costumes for Lianna and Rowan have been added, including special Broken Armor appearances.
  • New blessings have been added.
  • The Sell Weapons screen has been improved, allowing you to sell multiple weapons at once.
  • Various bug fixes.

Ver. 1.1 (Released October 20, 2017):

  • The Downloadable Content menu has been added and DLC is available.
  • The weapon list can be sorted.
  • The number of enemies defeated and rate of damage taken can be seen in History Mode.
  • Support for the free Japanese-voice pack has been added. Downloading this pack will add Japanese as an option for character voices.
  • Various bug fixes.
