A well-known Animation Studio in Kyoto was set ablaze today, killing 33 people and injuring at least a dozen. Kyoto Animation Co, known for their work at in Anime such as K-ON, Clannad and Full Metal Panic! had around 70 people working that day when the fire was set. Police are treating the fire as arson and the suspect is being treated at a local hospital.

While this is not the usual news we cover here at Miketendo64. However, many of our followers and team members are lovers of anime and we feel we can make an exception. Our sincerest condolences go out to friends and family who have lost loved ones in the fire. We also truly hope that those that were injured in the fire have a quick recovery. Our thoughts are with you all.
