Thanks to the likes of Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu!/Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!, proving yourself as a true Pokémon Master is no longer limited to just beating the Elite Four and completing the Pokédex, because now there are Master Trainers thrown into the mix as well.
Except, while most Master Trainers require you challenging them in a 1v1 battle where you both use the same Pokémon, some Master Trainers only need you to show them a truly powerful Pokémon and having already provided separate guides on how to become a Meltan Master and a Mewtwo Master, this is our guide on how to earn the title of Ditto Master:
How to Earn the Ditto Master Title in Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! & Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!:
As always, the first step in earning the title of Master over a specific title, is to actually have that Pokémon, so if you haven’t caught a Ditto yet, you need to make that a priority and the absolute best place to catch one, would have to be Cerulean Cave, which is also a great place to train your Ditto as well.
Just like with Meltan and Mewtwo, the Ditto Master title can only be earned, if you Ditto has a certain amount of CP and thankfully, it’s a fairly low number as you will only need a Ditto of 4000+ CP to earn the title and you can get that in no time at all if you chain combo catch a lot of Chansey, in between stuffing Ditto with every spare bit of Candy you possess.
Once your Ditto has amassed 4000 CP, it is time to drop all that you’re doing and make way to Cinnabar Island. Just like the Mewtwo, Mew, Meltan and MelmetalMaster Trainers, the Ditto Master can also be found in the Pokémon Mansion, except you won’t have to head to the basement to find him.
Instead, you need only to make your way to the highest floor (3F) and then proceed all the way to the top right, where you will find him standing in front of a bookcase. Provided you have Ditto set in the top left position of your party, so Ditto is the first out for battling, all that is left to do is to talk to the Ditto Master, have your Ditto praised and before you know it, you’ve just earned yet another title.
A video of the dialogue can be seen below, partnered with a video on how to reach the Ditto Master in the first place:
