The Splatoon 2 World Championship has finished and Japanese Team GG Boyz has reigned victorious. Splatoon 2 Director Hisashi Nogami was there to present them with their trophy and also to announce that weapon updates for Splatoon 2 will continue until December 2018. That wasn’t all though as he also revealed that Splatoon 2 Octo Expansion Releases tomorrow for all that have downloaded the Expansion pass.
That isn’t all though, as new amiibo are on the way as well. The new amiibo are based on the main characters of the Octo Expansion; the octolings. There has been no statement as to when they will be available for purchase so as soon as we know anything, we shall be sure to post it.
As mentioned before, Splatoon 2 will be recieving more weapon updates up until December 2018. A few more stages will also be brought in for online turf wars. One in particular looks like a luxurious resort.
