As part of BitSummit, with Gunvolt being a little busy being a playable fighter in the upcoming Blade Strangers, published by Nicalis, Inti Creates has revealed plans to expand the Gunvolt universe with a new game that is all about Copen. As for the name of the game, it is Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminois Avenger iX and this is everything Inti Creates have to say and show off regarding the upcoming Switch title:

At the indie game show Bitsummit Volume 6, held in Kyoto’s Miyako Messe conference hall on May 12-13, 2018, Inti Creates held a panel where they announced the development of “Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX.”
Luminous Avenger iX is a new title in the universe of the Gunvolt series, which began with 2014’s Nintendo 3DS eShop title “Azure Striker Gunvolt,” which was followed by 2016’s “Azure Striker Gunvolt 2.”
This new title sees Gunvolt series anti-hero “Copen” take the starring role. The Inti Creates team is hard at work on this project centering around this popular character from the Gunvolt universe, and more details are to be announced this summer, so look forward to hearing more info soon!
