Nintendo has recently introduced a new update on its website that allows everyday users to leave customer reviews on specific Switch games. This update allows Switch players to share to Nintendo and certain game developers their experience playing it.
Popular Nintendo games are already implementing this feature including Splatoon 2 and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on their individual pages. To do this you’ll have to scroll to the bottom of the page where you’ll find a new section called “Customer Reviews.”
You will be first asked to select an overall rating, which is symbolized by 5 stars. Players are then asked to choose from several tags including Challenging, Great Sound, Kid appropriate, Immersive, among others.
This comes with one caveat in that you won’t be able to leave anonymous feedback on the site, as Nintendo would only allow a player to review a game after signing into their Nintendo Account.
For the moment, only selected games have the review feature, however, it is expected that reviews will be rolling out for other titles very soon. Nevertheless, this is a nice feature to have on the official Nintendo site.
