Campers, it is time to bid adieu to Rover, for the Garden Safari event is now over, but worry not for Nintendo wish for you to keep on gaming!

With no messing about, a new event has begun for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp and this time it is the Winter Sports event, which will run from today until 06L59 AM CET on the 31st of January. As for what it is all about, it’s about getting into the spirit of the season and turning your camp into your very own winter wonderland. (Sure Christmas was last month, but let’s not use that against them.)

Similar to the New Year’s event, completing tasks for your Animal friends can result in you occasionally being given Snowflakes, which when enough of them are collected, can be used to decorate winter sports related items, such as a Snow Park winter amenity or a winter sports piece of furniture in the form of a mini-skate park. Another 2 ways to earn Snowflakes is by mining them from the quarry or completing the newly added Timed Goals, but because that’s not all, there is also a new line of Winter Sports clothing and they consist of:

  • Figure-skater Outfit
  • Pearl tiara
  • Figure-skater Shoes
  • Beanie with Googles
  • Snowboard Jacket
  • Snowboard Pants

However, do note that the special furniture is only available for the duration of the event so when it ends on the 31st of January, you will no longer be able to craft them, but of you were already crafting them before the event ends and they become complete after it, you can still get them, so act fast, because the new Winter Sports gear will not be around for long!
