Last week, Niantic introduced the Water Festival event to Pokémon GO and while the event may be over, the Pokémon GO fun sure isn’t.

During the event, Niantic made it so that Water-type Pokémon appeared more often, with Magikarp being the most common and according to the app’s dev, over 589 million Magikarp were caught, which is very impressive indeed, but I can’t help but wonder just how many of those caught Magikarp were Shiny Magikarp, especially since  I didn’t encounter a single one.

But how about you? Were you able to catch any Shiny Magikarp? Let us know!
