Rhythm Paradise Megamix Demo: First Impressions
The demo for Rhythm Paradise Megamix became available today on the 3DS European Eshop. The full game is set for release on October 21st physically and digitally.
Being new to the series I wasn’t sure what to expect but I really enjoyed the demo.
The game is made up of fun rhythm mini-games. If you have played any of the Wario Ware games it reminds me of those but with a much more catchy beat.
For example one of the mini-games got me plucking hairs out of hairy vegetables in time with the beat!
At the start of the game there is an easy to follow tutorial and also at the start of each of the 5 mini games available on the demo. I quickly got the hang of the game and I feel most people would enjoy it, no matter what age or wether you are new to the series or not.
It seems like a fun game that could become addictive but also be perfect for short bursts as well.
At the end of each game you either get a score of pass, ok, superb or perfect. Depending on what you score you get between 1 and 3 gold coins. It was not clear what these could be used for on the demo version.
Overall the game is very fun and daft and I will certainly be buying this in October.
