Pokémon Legends: Z-A | Mystery Gift Spewpa Evolves into Random Vivillon Pattern

To mark the launch of the Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Mega Dimension physical package, The Pokémon Company is distributing a special Spewpa via Mystery Gift. Once evolved, this Spewpa becomes a Vivillon with one of 16 different patterns chosen at random.

The gift can be claimed in both the original Pokémon Legends: Z-A and the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. Players must have roughly one hour of play time before the Mystery Gift feature unlocks, connect to the internet, and link a Nintendo Account (no paid Nintendo Switch Online membership required). It can be received only once per save data.

Steps: open the main menu → Link Play → Mystery Gift → Get via Internet, then save.

Alongside the distribution, a community Vivillon Challenge is running. Evolving Spewpa (including this gifted one, wild catches, or side-mission rewards) contributes Vivillon Points toward a global goal of 660,000. If the target is reached, a rare Poké Ball Pattern Vivillon will be distributed later; the challenge has no end date.

This is a timely boost for collectors hunting Vivillon patterns and ties neatly into the concurrent Pokémon Champions campaign that rewards bringing a Legends: Z-A Vivillon into that game.
