Tomodachi Life: Living The Dream

Spooky décor, costumes and seasonal silliness for your island residents.

Nintendo of America has drawn attention to seasonal Halloween content inside Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, encouraging players to decorate Yoomian Island with spooky décor and explore the limited-time activities available to their Mii residents. The game, which launched on April 16, 2026 for Nintendo Switch (with Switch 2 compatibility), features recurring holiday periods that introduce special items, events, and interactions.

During the Halloween window, players can acquire themed furniture and clothing—such as jack-o’-lantern variants and costume pieces—through the game’s wishing fountain and shop systems. These items allow Miis to participate in the seasonal atmosphere, with the game previously establishing multi-week holiday periods rather than single-day events. The promotion aligns with the broader October calendar across Nintendo platforms and live services.

Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream has maintained a steady player base since launch, with seasonal updates providing fresh reasons to return. While major free content expansions have been limited, the holiday rotations remain a reliable source of new decorative options and light narrative beats for island caretakers.
