It’s been a long time coming!
On August 20, 2026, Nintendo began distributing Fire Emblem: Three Houses icons through Nintendo Switch Online. The new distribution will run until September 3, 2026, with a fresh wave arriving next Thursday.
Wave 1 is available now until August 27, 2026, at 00:59 UTC and consists of the following:
- 33 Characters (10 Platinum Points each)
- Of the 33 Characters, all 33 are NEW
- 11 Backgrounds (5 Platinum Points each)
- Of the 11 Backgrounds, all 11 are NEW
- 8 Frames (5 Platinum Points each)
- Of the 5 Frames, all 5 are NEW

Three territories. Three houses. Your very own journey.
War is coming to the continent of Fódlan. Here, order is maintained by the Church of Seiros, which hosts the prestigious Officer’s Academy within its headquarters. You are invited to teach one of its three mighty houses, each comprised of students brimming with personality and represented by a royal from one of three territories. As their professor, you must lead your students in their academic lives and in turn-based, tactical RPG battles wrought with strategic, new twists to overcome. Which house, and which path, will you choose?
