Not very supportive…
With Pokémon Champions releasing in April 2026, details have come forward regarding how the game will make the most out of Pokémon HOME, and it’s not that good. While players can move supported Pokémon into Champions, any new Pokémon caught in Champions can not be transferred into Pokémon HOME. For the full details, we have them right here:
Connect with Pokémon HOME:
Pokémon HOME is an app for Nintendo Switch and compatible mobile devices that allows you to store all your Pokémon in one place. By linking the same Nintendo Account to both the Nintendo Switch version and mobile device version of Pokémon HOME, you’ll be able to access your Pokémon in both.
By linking Pokémon Champions to Pokémon HOME, you will be able to bring certain Pokémon to Pokémon Champions as visitors, as well as send visiting Pokémon back to Pokémon HOME.
Aim for the title of champion alongside Pokémon you’ve befriended thus far in Pokémon Legends: Z–A, Pokémon GO, and other titles in the Pokémon series.
- Only Pokémon that appear in Pokémon Champions will be able to visit from Pokémon HOME.
- Pokémon obtained in Pokémon Champions cannot be sent to Pokémon HOME.
- Pokémon can only be sent to a game through Pokémon HOME if they appear in that game.
- If Pokémon brought over as visitors know moves that cannot be used in Pokémon Champions, you’ll need to change those moves via training.
- Training underwent in Pokémon Champions won’t carry over to Pokémon HOME, but if the same Pokémon visit Pokémon Champions again, any training they received will be saved.
- If a visiting Pokémon leaves Pokémon Champions and then returns in a different form, the results of any training that Pokémon had undergone in Pokémon Champions will be lost.
