It’s You I See.

As another Pokémon Europe International Championships comes to an end, it is time to look back on it fondly, as we always do. The show goes from strength to strength every year, but with an improved layout, an even greater line-up of mini-games and activities, this year’s EUIC was bigger and better than all that came before it. The line-up of meet-and-greets was incredible, the mini museum was formidable, and the carpet was outright shocking. As we took in the sights of previous tournament winners, we noticed that our footsteps across the carpet caused static shocks. So, after five minutes of being a living Pikachu, we informed a few of the staff members who were on-site.

They were quite sceptical at first, but hilarity swiftly ensued when we watched two grown men in staff shirts zap each other. Our true enjoyment, of course, came from the playable Pokémon Pokopia demo, which we absolutely fell in love with. The cosy life sim is everything we thought it would be and more, and we absolutely cannot wait for the full game to release next week, on March 5, 2026. It truly is a joyous title that will become our next obsession, but for our full thoughts, you can find them here.

Another absolute highlight is seeing the Pokémon GO Truck in person. It is an absolute thing of beauty, and it made for the perfect backdrop when participating in multiple raids against Enamorus, the Love-Hate Pokémon on Valentine’s Day. But, since a picture tells 1,000 words, here’s 28,000 words in visual form:

Of course, you can’t go to the 2026 Pokémon Europe International Championships and not talk about the Championships themselves.
