Just under a month before the release of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment on Nintendo Switch 2, KOEI TECMO and Nintendo revealed some new details about characters we had seen previously, but did not know their names. So, with six characters now properly introduced, here is everything we know about the six characters Nintendo has told us about this week:

Introducing the Characters of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment:

Zelda: A Hyrulean princess who has been transported to this era from the distant future and is searching for a way home.

Rauru: The first king of Hyrule and one of the last surviving Zonai. He wields the power of light and a secret stone borne by his people when they descended from the heavens long ago.

Sonia: The founding queen of Hyrule. This gentle soul governs at Rauru’s side, supporting him with her boundless wisdom. She carries a secret stone and wields the power of time.

Mineru: Rauru’s elder sister Mineru is an expert on the Zonai. She is often found researching constructs and other technological wonders in her study. She possesses a secret stone and the unique ability to separate her spirit from her body.

Ganondorf: The only male born to the Gerudo in one hundred years, Ganondorf was subsequently made chieftain in accordance with their laws.

Qia: The Zora queen and a skilled fighter whose courage and valor inspire her people.

Agraston: The worldly chief of the Gorons.Though calm and intellectual, he will readily fight tooth and nail for his companions.

Raphica: The quick-witted leader of the Rito. Despite his aloof demeanor, he is a considerate and steadfast ally.

Ardi: A compassionate leader among the Gerudo who is bound by Gerudo law to serve Ganondorf.

Lenalia: A chamberlain who attends to Princess Zelda. Though she can come across as easygoing, her ability to get things done has made her one of Rauru’s most trusted attendants.

Calamo: A boisterous Korok roaming Hyrule in search of a place to put down roots.ts

Mysterious Construct: Meet the Mysterious Construct who can transform and take to the skies.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment releases exclusively on the Nintendo Switch 2 on November 6, 2o25.

Use save data from Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity or The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom to get additional weapons: If you have save data from the Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity game on your system when you play, you’ll receive a High Guard’s Claymore. If you have save data from the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom game, you receive a High Guard’s Sword. These weapons can be redeemed after returning to the Hyrule map upon completion of The Howling Tempests mission.
