With the end of September in sight, the next themed booster Expansion for Pokémon TCG Pocket, has been revealed. Releasing on September 30, 2025, Deluxe Pack: ex is a new limited-time expansion that will only be sticking around for one month. Packs are said to contain only four cards instead of the usual five, but each pack guarantees a card that is ♦♦♦♦ rarity or higher. Deluxe Pack: ex is said to consist of cards previously available from the likes of Genetic Apex to Wisdom of Sea and Sky, with some cards featuring parallel foil designs, and some cards having new art. New Deluxe Pack: ex Booster Pack for Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket Provides Another Opportunity to Collect Past Pokémon ex Cards, Coming Soon for Limited Time
Today, The Pokémon Company group revealed that a special booster pack titled Deluxe Pack: ex will be available in the Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket app between 30 Sept., 2025, at 6:00 a.m. UTC and 30 Oct., 2025 at 05:59 a.m. UTC.
New Deluxe Pack: ex Booster Pack: In Deluxe Pack: ex, players will be able to come across many cards released in previous booster packs since Pokémon TCG Pocket’s launch, ranging from Genetic Apex through Wisdom of Sea and Sky. This special booster pack will also include all ♦♦♦♦ rarity cards released in previous booster packs.
Each Deluxe Pack: ex booster pack will include four cards, of which one card is guaranteed to be of ♦♦♦♦ rarity or higher, giving fans another exciting opportunity to collect highly sought after cards that have been previously released. Select cards will also feature parallel foil designs or entirely new illustrations, providing a new look to existing cards.
Upcoming Events: In addition to the Deluxe Pack: ex booster packs, Trainers can look forward to the following in-app events coming soon.
Raichu ex Drop Event (6 Oct. at 6 a.m. UTC to 16 Oct. at 5:59 a.m. UTC): Players can take on special solo battles to obtain A series Vol. 13 promo packs.
Bonus Week (12 Oct. at 6 a.m. UTC to 19 Oct. at 5:59 a.m. UTC): During this period, players can tackle Bonus Week missions to obtain pack hourglasses and other rewards.
Wonder Pick Event (13 Oct. at 6 a.m. UTC to 23 Oct. at 5:59 a.m. UTC): Promo cards featuring Shaymin and Absol will be appearing in wonder pick. During this event, there will also be missions that allow players to obtain event shop tickets.
Parallel Foil Cards Mass Outbreak Event (23 Oct. at 6 a.m. UTC to 29 Oct. at 5:59 a.m. UTC): Parallel foil cards will appear in rare picks and bonus picks. Missions that allow players to obtain shop tickets will also be available during this period.
Upcoming Events: In addition to the Secluded Springs themed booster pack, Trainers can look forward to the following in-app events coming soon.
Zoroark Drop Event (September 3 at 6 a.m. UTC to September 13 at 5:59 a.m. UTC): Take on special solo battles to obtain new promo cards, including Zoroark.
Bonus Week (September 8 at 6 a.m. UTC to September 14 at 5:59 a.m. UTC): Tackle new Bonus Week missions to obtain pack hourglasses and other rewards.
Wonder Pick Event (September 15 at 6 a.m. UTC to September 24 at 5:59 a.m. UTC): Obtain new promo cards featuring Miltank and Phanpy, as well as event shop tickets by completing missions.
Water-type Pokémon Mass Outbreak Event (September 26 at 6 a.m. UTC to October 1 at 5:59 a.m. UTC): Cards relating to Water-type Pokémon will appear in rare picks and bonus picks.
