A New Trails for a New Nintendo platform.
With The Legend of Heroes: Trails beyond the Horizon previously announced for the likes of Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC, NIS America has now revealed the game will also be releasing on the Nintendo Switch 2. This makes The Legend of Heroes: Trails beyond the Horizon the first new Trails game to release on Nintendo’s latest platform.
There is, however, some bad news as due to a small delay, The Legend of Heroes: Trails beyond the Horizon won’t be releasing until January 2026 for all announced platforms. For the full press release, we have it and its associated trailer, here:

The Next Installment in the Trails Series Debuts in January 2026
NIS America, Inc. is proud to announce that The Legend of Heroes: Trails beyond the Horizon is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in addition to the previously-announced Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG) platforms. All platforms, including Nintendo Switch 2, are now scheduled to launch in January 2026.
