Pokémon Day | Pokémon TCG Pocket adds Triumphant Light Expansion on February 28 (2025) -

All hail Arceus!

For the players who are diligently collecting cards belonging to the Space-Time Smackdown expansion, during the latest Pokémon Presents, it was confirmed that Pokémon TCG Pocket will add an Arceus-focused expansion called, “Triumphant Light,” when it releases on February 28, 2025. What’s more, Ranked Battles are coming and we’ve been given a closer look at some of the cards set to make their mark tomorrow:

Arceus ex and powerful Link Abilities headline this upcoming expansion

Happy Pokémon Day! To celebrate, Pokémon TCG Pocket is releasing its fourth expansion, Triumphant Light, on February 27, 2025, at 10:00 p.m. PST! The Mythical Pokémon Arceus is headlining this expansion and will descend from the mountains of the Sinnoh region as it makes its debut as a powerful Pokémon ex. Look forward to more mighty Pokémon ex, new Trainers, gorgeous immersive cards, and the debut of unique Link Abilities, as well as free booster packs to commemorate Pokémon Day and the release of Triumphant Light in a special in-game event.

Pokémon cards with Link Abilities are marked with a distinctive pattern similar to that on the physical cards featuring Arceus in the Pokémon Trading Card Game: Platinum—Arceus expansion. In Platinum—Arceus’s case, the pattern was largely cosmetic, but the cards debuting in Triumphant Light have something new to offer. When these Pokémon are in play alongside Arceus or Arceus ex, their powerful Link Abilities combine to shake up a battle together. You can celebrate Pokémon Day in Pokémon TCG Pocket with a special campaign! Log in from February 27, 2025, at 6:00 a.m. PST to April 29, 2025, at 10:59 p.m. PST to obtain a Genetic Apex: Pikachu booster pack and a Genetic Apex: Mewtwo booster pack. These aren’t run-of-the-mill packs—they include at least one card with a rarity of four diamonds or higher! You can take part in Pokémon Day–themed missions to earn even more rewards from February 27, 2025, at 10:00 p.m. PST to March 26, 2025, at 10:59 p.m. PST.

But wait, there’s more! The ranked match feature, which allows you to play ranked battles, is coming to Pokémon TCG Pocket in March.
