More mythical shinies await!
Just in case it wasn’t enough to spoil Pokédex fans last month with a new special distribution for a Shiny Enamorus and Shiny Manaphy, Game Freak and The Pokémon Company are at it again. This time around, the two newest Pokédex Completion awards concern Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu!, Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!, Pokémon Sword, and Pokémon Shield.
Players who complete the Kanto Pokédex by catching every Pokémon available in the Pokémon: Let’s Go games, will earn a shiny Meltan for their efforts, whereas those who catch every obtainable Pokémon in the Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield games, can complete the Galar Pokédex, Isle of Armor Pokédex and Crown Tundra Pokédex. Achieving this milestone will reward you with a shiny Keldeo.
Both Pokémon come in a Cherish Ball, are set at level 50, and their associated distribution has no expiry date.
In terms of move-sets, Keldeo in its Ordinary Form, knows the following:
- Quick Guard [15/15] | Fighting
- Double Kick [30/30] | Fighting
- Aqua Tail [10/10] | Water
- Sacred Sword [15/15] | Fighting
Shiny Meltan on the otherhand, knows the following moves:
- Headbutt [15/15] | Normal
- Thunder Wave [20/20] | Electric
- Acid Armor [20/20] | Poison
- Flash Cannon [10/10] | Steel
Incidentally, since Meltan can only evolve into Melmetal in Pokémon GO, this is one shiny mythical Pokémon you will not be able to evolve any time soon.
