“It’s a Mii, Marina!”

Just because the Grand Festival is over and Team Past won the Splatfest, it doesn’t mean you can’t go back for more. So, join us for a very quick guide on returning to the Grand Festival venue in Splatoon 3.

How to Revisit the Grand Festival Venue with Idol amiibo:

For those of you who were hoping the Grand Festival wasn’t just a one-time thing, you are in luck! Whether you saw it or missed it, as long as you are an avid amiibo collector, you can visit the Grand Festival venue as many times as you wish.

To do this, you need only to own one of the 11 amiibo based on the Idol characters from the Splatoon series and scan them into the game whilst you are connected online. While this feature was previously unavailable, by scanning an Idol amiibo into Splatoon 3 from September 16, 2024 onwards, players can get the option to visit the Grand Festival venue during its First Phase, Second Phase and Post-Event Grand Festival stages.

This happens via choosing the third option when interacting with the Idol character once they have been scanned in:

  • Saving Gear to amiibo
  • Taking photos with amiib
  • About the Grand Festival

By selecting “About the Grand Festival”, players are then given the following options to pick which night you wish to remember:

  • Remember Colorful Evenings
  • Remember the Night of Unity
  • Remember That Tranquil Dawn

When you are ready to leave the venue, you will need to select the train station. You will also be able to skip any songs you don’t want to listen to.
