Yacht Club Games | New Mainline Shovel Knight Game is in Development

With Yacht Club Games celebrating the 10th anniversary of their beloved Shovel Knight IP, the developer recently hosted Yacht Club Games Present, a special presentation dedicated to all things Shovel Knight. As part of the presentation, numerous announcements were made in the form of new DLC packs, an update on Mina the Hollower and more.

What is regarding to be the biggest announcement, however, is the announcement of the next mainline series Shovel Knight game being in development. No trailer or footage was shared of the new game, but based on the teaser trailer alone, it appears Yacht Club Games are teasing a 3D outing. Moreover, the developer mentioned it’s worth revisiting their other games for clues on what to expect from the next entry in the Shovel Knight series. 

Before we go, we have one final announcement: a brand new mainline Shovel Knight game is in development!
