Our news round up today should tickle you pink as Nintendo has shared a new trailer for Princess Peach: Showtime and announced a new colored Joy-Con: Pastel Pink! So without further delay, let’s get right to it.
M64 Latest News: Get Ready for Cowgirl Peach and Pink Joy-Con
Kicking off our official announcements is a new Trailer for Princess Peach: Showtime being dropped today showing off new transformations for Princess Peach in the form of Ninja Peach and Cowgirl Peach.
Princess Peach: Showtime
As previously mentioned, a new trailer has dropped today for Princess Peach: Showtime and focuses on Peach’s transformations including two newly announced forms; Ninja Peach and Cowgirl. No doubt the latter will perk the interests of bucking broncos but if don’t let the cute outfit fool you, Peach knows how to wrangle foes with her lasso and her ninja skills are not to be laughed at either. The trailer then goes off to show Peach’s transformations in action with some gameplay footage from the game.
In Princess Peach’s newest adventure, Peach teams up with the Sparkle Theater’s guardian called Stella to save the theatre from the clutches of the wicked Grape and the Sour Bunch. Embued by the power of Sparkle, Peach can take to the stage and transform it in order ot best Grape and their evil acting troupe with her a performance of her own. As for what Peach’s transformation can do, here is a quick lowdown that has been extracted from Nintendo’s official press release:
As Ninja Peach, she will call upon her sneaking abilities as she uses shadows, shrubbery and makeshift bamboo snorkels to surprise and thwart her enemies. In courses where you need to be a little more brash, Cowgirl Peach yee-haws into action. Her horseback-riding expertise is matched only by her deftness with a lasso, and you’ll need both to make sure Peach rides off into the sunset …or at least into the next scene.
Pastel Pink Joy-Con Releasing March 22nd, 2024
Get ready to represent whilst playing Princess Peach: Showtime as Nintendo has announced that a new set of Joy-Con will be releasing the same day and will be sporting a pastel pink colour theme. Unlike the previously released pastel coloured Joy-Con in 2023 that had each Joy-Con in a different colour, the new set of Joy-Con will have both with the same coloration.
As someone who already has six pairs of Joy-Con and three Pro Controllers, I think I will have to miss out on these but I must say that I am quite tempted to pick them up and are certainly the better looking set of Joy-Con out of the new pastel coloured variants.

The Zebra-Man Slated For Early 2024 Release
For those who are not too keen on cutesy colored Joy-Cons or theatrical performances from princesses, maybe you would prefer something, messier? Game developer and publisher Zerouno Games, is bringing top-down pixel art action with The Zebra-Man. The game is developed by Thunder Zebra and Lokaweed and will be releasing on Nintendo Switch sometime in early 2024.
The Zebra-Man is inspired by the likes of classic Grindhouse films and Hotline Miami and will allow players to “Strike, destroy and immerse yourself in a vengeful bloodbath!” Merciless carnage and chaos awaits, along with puzzles, fistfights, and large amounts of violence. Whilst we can’t embed the video below due to age ratings, those who wish to see a trailer can find it on YouTube on the official Zerouno channel.
M64 Latest: Another Code Recollection, Turnip Boy Robs a Bank, and Terra Nil EXPlay
On the Miketendo64 front, we have three new EXPlay reviews for you. The first is for Nintendo’s and Arc System Works Another Code Recollection. We also have an EXPlay for Turnip Boy Robs a Bank by Snoozy Kazoo and Terra Nil by Free Lives. All three games offer very different experiences so feel free to check them below.
