Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown

Heya folks! Welcome back to another M64 Latest, giving you a brief recap of news from the world of Nintendo as well as some personal insight into the happenings here at Miketendo64. We actually have some great game announcements to share with you this time around so buckle up for this week’s latest news.

M64 Latest News: More Games Inbound For Switch

Kicking off our official announcements is Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown being announced for Switch.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown Deluxe Edition

“Come In Whiskey Bravo. Do you copy? Over,” Nintendo Switch owners will soon be able to take to the skies in Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown this Summer. With the game reaching over 5 million copies sold across multiple platforms, Bandai Namco are bring the aerial combat game to Nintendo Switch on July 11th, 2023.

The game is slated as the Deluxe Edition and is promised to “faithfully recreate” the fast-paced action of the original game. Alongside the base game, Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown Deluxe Edition will include multiple pieces of downloadable content which are as follows:

  • ACE COMBAT 7: SKIES UNKNOWN base game
  • Downloadable content ” Three original aircraft sets” + “Three SP missions”
  • Part 1 “ACE COMBAT 7: SKIES UNKNOWN – ADF-11F Raven Set”
  • Part 2 “ACE COMBAT 7: SKIES UNKNOWN – ADF-01 FALKEN Set”
  • Part 3 “ACE COMBAT 7: SKIES UNKNOWN – ADFX-01 Morgan Set”
  • Part 4 “ACE COMBAT 7: SKIES UNKNOWN – Unexpected Visitor”
  • Part 5 “ACE COMBAT 7: SKIES UNKNOWN – Anchorhead Raid”
  • Part 6 “ACE COMBAT 7: SKIES UNKNOWN – Ten Million Relief Plan”
  • Bonus “Music Player Mode”
  • Playable Aircraft F-104C -Avril-
  • Playable Aircraft F-4E Phantom II
  • Three popular aircraft skins from the past series
  • 8 popular emblems of the past series

Any other DLC not included in the list above will be made available on the Nintendo Switch eShop. Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown Deluxe Edition will be exclusively a digital only title in the Americas. No further information has been shared as to whether that will extend to regions outside the US.

Turnip Boy Robs a Bank

Why stop at tax evasion when you can take the whole bank? Turnip Boy returns and has decided to go big in the criminal underworld with aspirations to rob a bank! The second installment of Turnip Boy’s escapades is out today on Nintendo Switch and is titled Turnip Boy Robs a Bank.

As the titular Turnip Boy, you must carefully plan (or not) the heist of the century and steal the fortunes kept inside the Botanical Bank’s vaults. Work with the Pickle Gang and gather the necessary tools required to pull of the heist. It won’t be a breeze either so expect high-action shootouts with the bank’s security force and the elite Swat team that will stop at nothing to take you out.

Quake Remaster – Episode Enzo – Slave Zero X Mod

Quake Remaster is the gift that keeps on giving, with its constant Mod support. To hype up the release of the sidescrolling Hack ‘n Slash Slave Zero X next month, an official Mod has been made available for both PC and console versions of Quake Remaster titled Episode Enyo, which takes place in the events before Slave Zero X.

In Episode Enyo, you play an Assassin called Enyo who is contracted to kill the tyrannical ruler SovKhan, until she is then forced to serve him as the Second of Five Calamities. The Mod features eight new gnarly weapons to wield, as well as eight new original music tracks to listen to as you play through the five unique Quake-exclusive maps that have been modeled after levels from the main game, Slave Zero X.

M64 Latest: Another Code Recollection EXPlay On The Way

On the Miketendo64 front, we havea couple of new EXPlay reviews on the way. The first is for Another Code Recollection which, we shall aim to share with you over the weekend. I know the game releases tomorrow but we need a bit more time to polish it before we can give it the go ahead to be published. To tide you over though, we do have our EXPlay for the Another Code Recollection demo, should you be interested and you can find it below.

As for other EXPlays on the way, we still have Full Quiet, Terra Nil and also an EXPlay for a certain barcoded assassin to come but we shall share more details on those games next week.
