With 2023 marking the 25th anniversary for Pokémon Centers, a new serial code distribution has been announced for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. Currently, it remains exclusive to Japan, but for those who are able to attend Pokémon Centers and Pokémon Stores across Japan anytime between April 22, 2023 – June 30, 2023, will be able to acquire a serial code that can be used in the Paldea based codes.
The code in question will allow players to obtain a celebratory Pikachu that comes at level 25, holding TM 025 and knows the move Celebrate. It will also have one of two possible marks, based on the size of the Pikachu you recieve, which can either be very large and has the Jumbo Mark, or is very tiny and has the Mini Mark.
