Three events to enjoy.

If you’re an avid gamer and looking for something to do this weekend, but are at a loss as to what to play, maybe we can help you. With so many games to choose from, it can quickly become hard to decide which games are worth playing over the weekend, but for those who haven’t got the time to play for a long session, how about something you can play in short bursts?

If that sounds like something you’re interested in trying, then the games you might want to consider are Tetris99, Pokémon Sword, Pokémon Shield and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and now we shall explain the reasons why:

Reason to play Tetris99:

Prove you’re a true fan of Wario by obtaining a very special Tetris99 theme based on WarioWare: Get it Together! The Tetris99 x #WarioWare: Get It Together! Grand Prix is available from now until 08:59 CEST on September 21, 2021.

Reason to play Pokémon Sword and/or Pokémon Shield:

Just in time for the weekend, a special Max Raid Battle Event is underway and it’s putting a focus on Solrock and Lunatone. What’s more, players who are really lucky could also encounter Shiny versions of both. The only downside, the event only lasts until 23:59 UTC on September 19, 2021.

Reason to play Super Smash Bros. Ultimate:

From now until 23:00 PT on September 19, 2021, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is hosting an event tourney called “Assist Trophy Avalanch” and sees assist trophies “pouring onto the battlefield.”

Do any of our selections take your fancy? Let us know!
