From video games to television.

Since Imagineer first initially introduced the world to Fitness Boxing in 2018, the developer was quick to expand on the standalone game by turning it into a series, thanks to the 2020 release of Fitness Boxing 2: Rhythm & Excercise, but now a new project is in the works.

Instead of a video game, Fitness Boxing is now getting its very own anime series in Japan, with the Japanese voice actors who voiced the instructors from the video games, coming back on board to voice the characters in the anime, which will cover what the instructors get up to, when not encouraging players to jab, hook and weave.

The anime is said to be written and led by Junpei Morita, better known as Morita and Jumpei, who just so happened to be the director of the musical series Lost Song, with Imagineer very much involved as they have handled the animation, alongside Story Effect. The anime will first broadcast on October 1, 2021.
