While the chosen chibi art style for the upcoming Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl aren’t to everyone’s liking, for those not particularly keen on a more modern Sinnoh based adventure, Game Freak has seen fit to develop a game that will take players back in time, where they will have the freedom to explore a Sinnoh of the past.
We are of course talking about Pokémon Legends: Arceus, and it turns out, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company, really weren’t kidding when they said about an early 2022 release date, as it has now been confirmed that Pokémon Legends: Arceus will be releasing on January 28, 2022 and below we are sharing absolutely everything we currently know about the upcoming release:

Get ready for a new kind of grand, Pokémon adventure in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, a brand new game from Game Freak that blends action and exploration with the RPG roots of the Pokémon series. Yes, the game did look rather rough in its initial reveal trailer, but that is based on gameplay from a demo build running in December 2020, which gives the game and its developers, plenty of time to fine-tune everything and getting it to look more akin to the open-world Pokémon game many of us have been imagining since the release of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
