Okay, so you are playing Shantae and the Seven Sirens and you are trying to get your hands on those super cool Monster Cards. There are 50 Monster Cards in total and some are a lot easier to collect than others. I must point out that there are some spoilers ahead so we recommend that if you are trying to avoid spoilers, now would be a good time to turn away now.

Still with us? Great! So, if you already know how the Monster Cards work, you can go straight to the list further down the page. If you would like an introduction to what they are and what they do, read on.

Section 1: What Are Monster Cards?

Monster cards are objects that are sometimes dropped by monsters you have defeated. There are 43 to be collected this way. There are another 7 cards that can only be purchased by Card Collectors in any of the towns at the cost of nuggets.

Section 2: What Do They Do?

The cards have special perks that can increase your abilities, increase health/magic/food drops, and reduce the cost of magic on particular sub-weapons. Even though there are 50 Monster Cards to collect, you can only use three of them at any one time. You can swap out cards any time you like so if you find yourself in a troublesome area, you can buff up the skills that are more useful for the situation.

Some Monster Cards can be used right away but others require you to collect a certain number before they are usable. Common enemies like the bat, crab, and snake require you to collect more cards. Tougher/Rarer enemies are less likely to drop cards but when they do, they can normally be used right away or require fewer quantities.

We have recorded some footage of all 50 Monster Cards. Just pause the video for the monster you would like to see.
