As the November 15, 2019 release date for Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield draws even closer, more details pertaining to the new Pokémon who call the Galar region home, are continuing to arrive, which means it’s time for some more “Who’s That Pokémon?” and in this instalment, we’re tackling the Cotton Bloom Pokémon Eldegoss!

Type: Grass
Height: 1’8″
Weight: 5.5 lbs.
Ability: Cotton Down / Regenerator
Description: When Gossifleur evolves into Eldegoss, its head becomes covered in thick cotton fluff. This cotton fluff serves as a cushion, helping to protect Eldegoss’s head from damage.
The tiny seeds attached to the cotton fluff are said to be highly nutritious and beneficial to both people and Pokémon. Eldegoss spreads these seeds throughout the region by sending them on the wind, making the soil of the Galar region rich in nutrients.
Note: While the means of evolution is currently unknown, Eldegoss is the evolved form of Gossifleur.
