The wait is almost over.
Thanks to a plentiful Nintendo Direct last year, we knew plenty of Final Fantasy games would be coming to the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One this year and now thanks to news from both Nintendo and Square Enix, now we know the exact date for three of the upcoming games.
First up is the rather special HD remaster of Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 on April 16 and then two weeks later, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age will be out on April 30.

FINAL FANTASY X / X-2 HD REMASTER AND FINAL FANTASY XII THE ZODIAC AGE AVAILABLE ON MORE PLATFORMS THIS APRIL:
LOS ANGELES (Jan. 10, 2019) – SQUARE ENIX® announced that soon players of the Nintendo Switch™ system and Xbox One can experience the highly acclaimed FINAL FANTASY® titles, FINAL FANTASY X / X-2 HD Remaster and FINAL FANTASY XII THE ZODIAC AGE™ this April. FINAL FANTASY X / X-2 HD Remaster will be available for the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One family of devices including Xbox One X, on April 16th, while FINAL FANTASY XII THE ZODIAC AGE will be available on April 30th.
