Much like a lot of games today, a new update is also available for the Nintendo Switch Parental Controls app and you can catch its patch notes, right here:

Nintendo Switch Parental Controls

What’s New with Version 1.7.0:  (Requires Android version 4.4 and up & iOS 9.0 or later)

  • If you’ve set up Parental Controls on a Nintendo Switch console, articles that appear in that console’s news feed will observe the Restricted Software setting located under Restriction Level in Console Settings.
  • Establishing a new Internet connection on a Nintendo Switch console with Parental Controls enabled no longer requires a PIN. A push notification will be sent to your smartphone when a new connection is established.
  • Feature improvements and bug fixes have been implemented.
