Love Cave Story+ on the Switch, but hate the fact it doesn’t come with the original graphics? Well you’re in luck!
Having already previously revealed an update is in the works that will add the “Classic Graphics,” Nicalis has since revealed that the update will in fact roll out next month for free. So sure you’ve got to “suffer” through the better looking version of Cave Story for the time being, but it won’t be for all that much longer. But until then, here’s a quick look at what you can expect from the new update:

There has yet to be any mention of the Classis Graphics update being pre-installed for European cart of Cave Story+ but Nicalis has since stated that there will be even more surprises and updates as far as Cave Story+ is concerned. So expecting more from the game going forwards and having to download the update if you live in Europe buy physical.
