When Mr. Shifty released on Switch earlier this month, while the fans loved it, a lot of critics slammed it for its frame rate drops. So as a means to appease those unsatisfied with the game, a patch has been promised to improve performance.

While the patch has still yet to release and some gamers are growing restless, today on reddit, Alex Nichiporchik, CEO of tinyBuild Games has announced that the patch should be available to Switch owners sometime in the next two weeks (around the second week of May,) but it is ready as of this moment and you can see his full comments right here:

“Just wanted to give everyone a heads-up that we were going to submit the Mr. Shifty patch this week, but due to next week being Gold Week, it wouldn’t matter as there are delays with submissions due to it. So we expect to submit the patch by end of week, and release the week after next. So in 2 weeks. It’s looking pretty good.”

Once the update does see its eventual release, you can expect to read about it the second we know it’s live.
