Get ready to hit update!
Due to the presences of some annoying online battle issues, Konami have been working hard on a fix and that fix is well on truly on its way as the update is already slated to roll out in Japan on the 17th of March, but it’s not known for certain if the update will also becoming to Europe and North America on the same day, or if it will be sometime next week instead.

Regarding the latency issues during Online Battles (3):
Dear Bomberman Fans,
We are happy to announce a significant upgrade for Super Bomberman R available on Nintendo Switch. These improvements should greatly refine the game-play, control input and character controls, for both online and offline play.
This is the first of many upcoming updates that will focus on improving the Super Bomberman R play experience.
