Pokémon Pokopia | Dazzling Decorations DLC Launches December 9 With New Applin Event Announced

Expansion Pass Part 2 focuses on accessories and new Pokémon while a free apple-themed event arrives mid-month.

The Pokémon Company has locked in the next wave of content for Pokémon Pokopia on Nintendo Switch 2. Expansion Pass Part 2: Dazzling Decorations arrives as paid DLC on December 9, 2026. Owners will be able to dress Ditto and befriended Pokémon neighbours in a wide range of new accessories (sunglasses, bow ties and more), while additional Pokémon and items enter the game.

The free ver. 3.0.0 software update is required. Players must complete key Withered Wasteland requests (raising the environment level, rebuilding the Pokémon Center, and Drifloon’s doll quest) before starting the DLC content.

Separately, every player can join the free limited-time Apples to Applin event running from November 16, 2026 at 05:00 to December 1, 2026 at 04:59 (local time). Applin visits towns and requests Syrupy Apples collected from Dream Islands. These can be exchanged for apple-themed furniture and decorations that create habitats capable of permanently befriending Flapple, Appletun, Dipplin and Hydrapple. Software version 2.0.1 or later is required.

Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass—Part 2: Dazzling Decorations Available 9 December

Harness your passion for fashion with cute new accessories, items, and Pokémon.

Part 2 of the Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass, Dazzling Decorations, is on the way, arriving 9 December 2026. With the release of Part 2, players that purchased the Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass paid DLC will be able to dress Ditto and their Pokémon neighbors in an array of accessories. Additionally, more Pokémon and new items will be available.

On top of exploring new towns, befriending more Pokémon, wearing new accessories, and discovering new items, players who purchase the expansion pass will receive additional gifts with purchase—including a recipe for dynamic Ditto print blocks and wallpaper! In addition, you can receive a code via email for 30 rare Pokémetal ingots (available through August 31, 2027). For more information about how to claim these gifts with purchase, visit the Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass site.

Before beginning Dazzling Decorations, players must first complete important requests in Withered Wasteland, including “Raise the environment level!,” “Rebuild the Pokémon Center!,” and Drifloon’s “Find a doll!” request.

Part 1: Bubbly Basin, which introduced a new underwater town and several more Pokémon to befriend, released on August 5, 2026. Part 3, which will introduce another new town to explore and rebuild, is slated for release in 2027.

Apples to Applin Event

All Pokémon Pokopia players can participate in the Apples to Applin event taking place November 16, 2026, at 5:00 a.m. to December 1, 2026, at 4:59 a.m. During this event, Applin, the Apple Core Pokémon, is coming to town and—like most Pokémon—they have a request for Ditto. Collect Syrupy Apples and exchange them for fun items including apple-themed furniture. You can then use those items to build habitats that a-peel to Flapple, Appletun, Dipplin, and Hydrapple too!

To participate in the Apples to Applin event, make sure you’re using software version 2.0.1 or later. You can check which software version you’re using by visiting the Options tab on the HOME menu.

Have an apple-solutely awesome time, Trainers!
