With the first event now available in Pokémon Pokopia on Nintendo Switch 2, in this guide, we’ll be covering the Sableye’s Gem Hunt event, how to befriend all obtainable Pokémon, build their associated habitats and walk you through each of the obtainable items. Let’s go:

Pokémon Pokopia | Sableye’s Gem Hunt Event Guide:

  • Event: Sableye’s Gem Hunt
  • Event Duration: April 29, 2026 at 05:00 local time – May 14, 2026 at 04:59 local time
  • Event Item: Red Crystal Fragments (A piece of broken red crystal. Bring it to Sableye!)
  • How to Obtain: Have Drifloon take you to a Dream Island and collect all Red Crystal Fragments, which can then be traded with Sableye at the Pokémon Center to obtain event exclusive items.

How to Build the Habitat for Sableye: Treasure-Hunting Set

  • Habitat Dex (Extra) No: #004
  • Habitat Description: A map and compass are essential treasure-hunting tools. Time to set off in search of jewels.
  • Required Items: 
    • Adventure Kit x1
    • Map and Compass x1
    • Treasure x1

  • Adventure Kit (A single-lens digital camera. It’s so high-tech that it looks tricky to use!) | Cost: 10 Red Crystal Fragments
  • Camping Chair (A simple seat that’s perfect for resting on while camping or adventuring.) | Cost: 5 Red Crystal Fragments
  • Camping Cooking Pot (Cooking equipment for making soup. Put this on a stove or campfire.) | Cost: 10 Red Crystal Fragments
  • Digital Camera (A single-lens digital camera. It’s so high-tech that it looks tricky to use!) | Cost: 5 Red Crystal Fragments
  • Jewel Wall Decoration (Put these multi-colored jewels up on the wall to add a little sparkle to your decor!) | Cost: 2 Red Crystal Fragments
  • Map and Compass (A map that indicates the location of treasure, and a compass that shows you the way.) | Cost: 5 Red Crystal Fragments
  • Oil Lantern (A lantern that provides a dim glow when lit. Perfect for exploring dark places!) | Cost: 2 Red Crystal Fragments
  • Sleeping Bag (A comfy sleeping bag with lots of soft, fluffy padding. Even on cold days, you’ll feel warm and toasty inside!) | Cost: 10 Red Crystal Fragments
  • Tent Kit (Gather some Pokémon and build away This makes a house that repels rain and wind. Great for camping!) | Cost: 10 Red Crystal Fragments
