Mario time!

With MAR10 Day finally here and an explosive The Super Mario Galaxy Movie Nintendo Direct taking place yesterday, Nintendo are pulling out all of the stops in order to make sure this MAR10 Day is one to remember. So, from new events, to NSO releases, collectable cards, LEGO sets and more, here is every announcement worth your time and attention:

NINTENDO KICKS OFF MAR10 DAY WITH A NEW LOOK AT THE SUPER MARIO GALAXY MOVIE

Happy MAR10 Day to one and all! Nintendo and Illumination recently surprised Mario fans with a brand-new trailer for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, only in theaters nationwide starting April 1. Starting today, fans can open the free Nintendo Today! smart device app each day to unlock a digital Collectible Card based on the movie. Beginning April 1, the app can be used to check in at participating theaters and unlock exclusive content, like a digital photo frame. There are also new trailers for Nintendo Switch 2 games starring Mario and friends, including Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park and Yoshi and the Mysterious Book. Plus, Nintendo is commemorating 40 years of the Super Mario Bros. game with in-store giveaways (while supplies last), special offers on games, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD sweepstakes and more.

  • The Super Mario Galaxy Movie – Get a new look at The Super Mario Galaxy Movie in this trailer released yesterday by Nintendo and Illumination. Tickets are available for purchase at movie theaters nationwide, and the film releases April 1.
  • Exclusive Nintendo Today! Content – Get ready for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie with Nintendo Today!, Nintendo’s free app for smart devices. Starting today, receive one digital Collectible Card from the movie by logging into the app and tapping the card daily. There are 40 different types to claim now through June 10. Unlock three cards during the promotion period (March 10 – May 31 at 11:59 p.m. PT) and earn 100 My Nintendo Platinum Points. Beginning April 1, use your app to scan the poster for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie to check in at participating theaters and unlock exclusive content. This includes a digital photo frame that marks the date and location you saw the film (only available on site), plus wallpapers and more.   • New Trailers for Nintendo Switch 2 Games Featuring Mario and Friends – Explore a new overview trailer for Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park, releasing March 26. Don’t forget to pick up Talking Flower4 releasing March 12. Plus, Nintendo also has a new sneak peek at Yoshi’s next adventure on the Nintendo Switch 2 system, Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, which releases May 21.
  • New From LEGO: Luigi & Mach 8 – Start your engines! The LEGO Group has revealed the newest set in their LEGO Mario Kart line for adults: Luigi & Mach 8 (72050)! Designed for builders 18 and up, this set includes 2,234 pieces and features a buildable Luigi figure with posable head, arms and hands, seated confidently behind the wheel of the first-ever large-scale LEGO brick recreation of the Mach 8 kart. Builders can display the kart on its stand at dynamic angles or remove the model from its stand and take it for a spin!   • New Releases for Nintendo Classics and Nintendo Music – Starting today, players with an active Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership can enjoy the Game Boy Advance game Mario vs. Donkey Kong and Virtual Boy games Mario Clash and Mario’s Tennis. Plus, Nintendo Music has been updated to include the soundtrack from the Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury game.
  • Tetris 99 52nd MAXIMUS CUP: Join us for a Maximus Cup from Friday, April 3 12:00 a.m. PT to Monday, April 6 11:59 p.m. PT, featuring a theme inspired by Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2! Compete in online battles in Tetris 99 mode and collect at least 100 event points to unlock a new in-game theme. Event points awarded based on rank achieved in each battle you compete in during the event.
  • Events for More Fun with Mario – On March 10, visit Nintendo NEW YORK and Nintendo SAN FRANCISCO for an opportunity to meet Mario. Then, sign up to join the Nintendo NEW YORK and Nintendo SAN FRANCISCO doubles tournament8 for Mario Tennis Fever on March 14. A Warp Pipe Pass is required to participate. You can also express your love for Mario and friends at Universal Fan Fest Nights, where SUPER NINTENDO WORLD gets even more playful with five different colored Yoshis and a challenge created just for fans! Universal Fan Fest Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood is an after-hours, separately ticketed event beginning April 23 through May 16.
