Mega Garchomp Z no longer has the Ground type—it is a Dragon type only. Its Dragon-type energy has grown more powerful, and it can now remain constantly hovering. What’s more, its Dragon-type moves have grown more agile and are strengthened because Mega Garchomp Z uses them while in flight, adding to their momentum.

The wings on its arms have expanded, letting them attain even more lift. These wings are lined with large, sharp claws that rend opponents even more aggressively than Mega Garchomp’s scythe-shaped wings, and they can shred targets with a gouging motion.
