The Legend of Exclusivity.

With Nintendo and Sony Pictures Entertainment hard at work bringing the live-action Zelda movie to life, with the full intent of releasing it globally on May 7, 2027, a new report from Famitsu has revealed what is to happen post-theatrical and home entertainment release. It has been divulged that Sony Pictures Entertainment have entered into a deal with Netflix to allow them to stream it exclusively, much like Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, and The Nightingale. 

While no other casting news has been shared for the film as yet, we do know it will star Benjamin Evan Ainsworth (17) as Link, and Bo Bragason (21) as Princess Zelda, who can both be seen pictured below:
