It has been revealed that on the same day as Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition releases on the Nintendo Switch 2, CAPCOM have revealed they also have something special in store for fans. Via a special showcase set to air on Thursday, January 15, 2026, the Resident Evil Showcase is said to be 12 minutes long and will feature new news and gameplay for Resident Evil Requiem. The presentation is said to have voice actor, Shunsuke Takeuchi narrating.
The showcase is said to go live at the following times: 14:00 PT / 17:00 ET / 22:00 UTC in the UK / 11 PM in Europe.
