Donkey Kong Bananza makes its first appearance.
The latest sales figures revealed that, as of September 30, 2025, the Nintendo Switch 2 had sold 10.36 million units globally, with 20.62 million software sales, compared to Nintendo Switch’s hardware sales of 154.01 million and software sales of 1,452.79 million units.

In addition to the sales figures for the Best Selling Nintendo Switch 2 games, Nintendo have also updated the sales figures for their Best Selling Nintendo Switch games, as well:
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe | 69.56 million
- Animal Crossing: New Horizons | 48.62 million
- Super Smash Bros. Ultimate | 36.93 million
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild | 33.34 million
- Super Mario Odyssey | 29.84 million
- Pokémon Scarlet / Pokémon Violet | 27.61 million
- Pokémon Sword / Pokémon Shield | 26.96 million
- The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom | 22.15 million
- Super Mario Party | 21.23 million
- New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe | 18.53 million
Additionally, Nintendo has also announced that in the latest financial quarter, Super Mario Party Jamboree has sold a further 1.16 million units, bringing total sales to 8.64 million units. Nintendo did not mention if those new sales are for the original version or the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition that was released back in July.
