In celebration of the Nintendo Switch 2 release of Kirby and the Forgotten Land + Star-Crossed World – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, Kirby and the Forgotten Land icons are returning to Nintendo Switch Online, with a few new icons included. The distribution is said to run until September 25, 2025, with new waves arriving weekly, every Thursday, from August 28, 2025. Wave 1 is available now until September 5, 2025, at 00:59 UTC and consists of the following:

  • 25 Characters (10 Platinum Points each)
    • Of the 25 Characters, 5 are NEW
  • 8 Backgrounds (5 Platinum Points each)
    • Of the 8 Backgrounds, 3 are NEW
  • 5 Frames (5 Platinum Points each)
    • Of the 5 Frames, 2 are NEW
