Just last week, we were treated to a Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase where all the big developers and publishers showed off their games that are coming to Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. This week is the Indie developers’ turn as we have an Indie World Direct coming this Thursday (August 7th, 2025) on Nintendo’s respective YouTube channels at 6:00 PDT / 9:00 EDT /14:00 GMT / 15:00 CEST.
The presentation is slated to be around 15 minutes long and will focus on indie games coming to both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
It does make us wonder if Nintendo will be hosting their own Nintendo Direct focused on first-party titles at some point, seeing that we have seen more on third-party games coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 than we have from the Big N themselves.
Still, it would be good to see what great indie gems are on their way to Switch 2. We will be sure to do a recap of what was shown during the Indie World Showcase.
