One last adventure awaits.
When The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero was first revealed for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, many had debated as to whether or not Part 2: The Indigo Disk would, in fact, release this Winter. Well, having previously seen Part 1: The Teal Mask released back in September, we can put the debate to rest, once and for all.
With no actual trailer shared along with today’s news, The Pokémon Company International have revealed that’s The Indigo Disk is set to release on December 14, 2023. Unlike the events that took place in The Teal Mask and Kitakami, which could be experienced any time during your playthrough once you have begun your treasure hunt, for the events that take place I’m The Indigo Disk, players are expected to have fully beaten the base games and all story paths.
In The Indigo Disk, players get to visit the Blueberry Academy, a school that is located underwater in the Unova region, which has a curriculum that “emphasizes Pokémon battling.” In the meantime, for players who have yet to even pick up the games, let alone the DLC, on November 3, 2023, will be able to pick up special physical bundles that sees the games packaged with the DLC. Only The Teal Mask is available on cart, along with the games as The Indigo Disk requires a separate download.
To look up the bundles, simply search: Pokémon Scarlet + The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Bundle or Pokémon Violet + The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Bundle. The choice is yours.
