At WASD, there were so many incredible indie games that it would have taken more than a day to play them all. Devolver Digital had quite a large presence at the event with Cult of the Lamb, Stick it to the Stickman, and other titles. The other developers had smaller booths with only a couple of demo units to present their game.
In this article, we are focusing on three of our top picks from WASD. It was tough to pick just three as there was a lot of choice with games of every genre but these are the three games that stood out to us the most.
Girl Genius: Adventures In Castle Heterodyne – Rain Games
Developed by Rain Games (Teslagrad, Worle to the West), Girl Genius: Adventures In Castle Heterodyne follows Agatha Clay as she explores her ancestral home that is littered with booby traps and perils.
Patch Quest – Curve Games
Developed by Curve Games, Patch Quest has players trapped in a labyrinth, which they must use their trusty lasso to capture and tame monsters so they canuse their abilities to escape the patchwork maze.
Full Void – OutOfTheBit
Developed by OutOfTheBit, Full Void is a 2D cinematic Puzzle Platformer that follows a young teenager who is trying to escape a rogue AI that is keeping humanity oppressed.
