“Stop. It’s Hammer time!

With the release of Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, Gen 9 is well and truly underway, bringing with it a brand-new region and a whole host of new Pokémon, alternate forms and the introduction of Paradox Pokémon. With plenty to learn with regards to evolving these monsters, we’re on hand to provide a series of small guides dedicated to evolving the Paldean additions. In this guide, we’re focusing on how to evolve Tinkatink into Tinkatuff and then into Tinkaton:

How to Evolve Tinkatink into Tinkatuff and Tinkatuff into Tinkaton:

If you harbour a hatred towards Pawniard, Bisharp and Corviknight, you will easily find a partner in Gen 9’s Tinkatuff and Tinkaton:

  • Catch a Tinkatink.
  • Train the Tinkatink to level 24.
  • Either catch a Tinkatuff, or once your Tinkatink has evolved into Tinkatuff, train your Tinkatuff to level 38.

About Tinkatuff:

Paldea Pokédex no: 280

Classification: Hammer Pokémon

Type: Fairy / Steel

Height: 2’4”

Weight: 130.3 lbs.

Description: This Pokémon will attack groups of Pawniard and Bisharp, gathering metal from them in order to create a large and sturdy hammer.

About Tinkaton:

Paldea Pokédex no: 281

Classification: Hammer Pokémon

Type: Fairy / Steel

Height: 2’4”

Weight: 248.7 lbs.

Description: This intelligent Pokémon has a very daring disposition. It knocks rocks into the sky with its hammer, aiming for flying Corviknight.
